Auras
Series

The series arises from a persistent interest in the idea that every living being emanates its own halo of light. I have always been fascinated by the thought that each individual projects a unique combination of colors—a sort of luminous field that few can perceive directly. Within my meditative practice, this concept is also linked to the notion that every person possesses an inner light that connects them to their own spiritual dimension.

In this series, the research is oriented toward the possibility of representing that luminous presence. The works function as portraits of souls, where the human figure disappears and is replaced by a chromatic manifestation. The notion of the aura appears here as a perceptual field of light—a projection of energy where color becomes the medium to imagine the invisible dimension of each being.

The pieces are constructed using lighting devices that emit color sequences capable of transforming the surrounding space. The light expands into the environment and envelops the viewer, generating an atmosphere where the perception of color becomes a bodily experience. The objective is to create contemplative situations where the visual experience can also resonate on an emotional and sensory level.

In certain works within the series, color unfolds through specific sequences that traverse different chromatic states. Each color appears associated with fundamental aspects of the human experience—from vital energy to intuition, love, or a connection with the cosmos. The transition between these colors proposes a sensory journey that invites the viewer to pause and perceive how these chromatic variations affect both the body and perception.

Light operates here in two simultaneous dimensions: on one hand, it acts through the physics of light as a phenomenon transmitting chromatic information via the retina; on the other, it functions as a symbol of spirituality that allows one to imagine a connection with their own interiority.

In some installations, the color is complemented by soundscapes that intensify the perceptual experience. The space is thus transformed into an immersive environment where light and sound accompany a state of introspection. Ultimately, the works in this series evoke the presence of ritual objects or luminous totems that invite silent contemplation. The intention is not to represent a concrete image, but to generate a field of color that allows the viewer to experience the possibility of reconnecting with that inner dimension that each person carries within.
