At birth, we pass through a first portal, the one that marks the beginning of our earthly existence. Later in life, there are times when the boundaries between worlds can become permeable, and one can return to the origin; not only to one's own conception, but also to countless other places.

Science fiction, as well as certain spiritual and transcendentalist disciplines, have taught us that it's possible to cross a threshold and find ourselves in another dimension, or at least imagine that it's feasible if some enlightened being discovers how to do it. What would happen if we ourselves were the ones to decipher how to travel through time and experience that cosmic transcendence?
